What does that mean? First and foremost is our faith. Our faith in Jesus, our Savior, is what has given us strength and peace and continues to do so now. We know that God loves us and is always by our side. We can and should come to him with all our thoughts, fears and feelings and he gives us the support we need so much, especially in a difficult time like now.

Then came the curfew, when only a few stores were open and we thought it was safer to buy enough groceries to last us a week, and if something was missing, we did without it. And it was precisely this decision – to consciously do without – that was incredibly easy for us. During this time, we realized what we didn’t need and didn’t have to have in the future. We had a lot of fun consciously taking time for ourselves, for our children. We particularly enjoy involving the kids in our activities and organizing each day differently.

The time when schools are closed and we only have half as much work is a great gift. We have time: time for God, time for us, time for the children – time for LIFE – we have learned to love it again.

One of the many things we have done together is to EAT! Sounds obvious, doesn’t it? No, planning food again, preparing it and enjoying it together as a family, and doing it consciously. Let’s be honest. Sitting together at the table and eating a delicious meal is much more fun.

Among the many new things we have discovered for ourselves, there is one that we all particularly like and, above all, enjoy.
