Benjamin Funk, 43, lives with his wife, Alexandra, and six children as a German-Israeli family in a Jewish moshav in the Galilee. He ran a communications agency in Germany for many years and is still active today as a content creator and lecturer. Over the years, he has been involved in the founding and management of various social projects.

Until the outbreak of the pandemic, he and his wife ran a tour and guest business in Israel. Traveling into the untouched wilderness was particularly close to his heart – be it on the Golan Heights or in the depths of the Negev Desert.

As a married couple, they aim to bring the country, culture and faith closer to the people. Benjamin works as an author for various magazines, including SCM Bundes-Verlag. As a freelancer for amzi, he supports various projects in Israel. He works as a freelance editor and correspondent for Fokus Jerusalem TV and is also regularly in front of the camera.

In his lectures, he offers in-depth insights into Jewish culture and life in Israel. He sheds light on the country’s social and political development and addresses fascinating biblical topics. It is particularly important to him to shed light on aspects that may seem incomprehensible in the West at first glance.
